These are not the psalms you memorized to impress God. These are retransmissions. Prayers for the burned-out, the barely-holding-on, the ones who tried religion and ended up in therapy. Each psalm is a sacred remix through the voice of Virgin Monk Boy—non-dual, trauma-aware, soaked in divine mischief, and always in conversation with the Presence that never left. They keep the shape of the originals but leave behind the groveling. Come as you are. Cry if you need to. These psalms can take it.

These are a lifeline for me. Just reading the unearthly beautiful prose ends up in my heart, either by loving force or brutal stealth. The Psalms I grew up with in the Bible resonated at times but i need the down to earth smack me in the face or stark sharing of life’s struggles to penetrate heart body mind & soul & guide me thru the mutilple layers of this thing we call life AND the inner life of where we came from & where we’re going.
What an unexpected gift of literal translation for those of us (i dont think I’m alone) who may not disbelieve the Psalms as written but connect with & are fed by these translations that so represent what we are living thru this time & place in the physical bodies.
A much appreciated gift & blessing that can soak in & change things easily each time they’re read & assimilated 💝💖❣️
I will meet one a day. Feel what and how it resonates. Thank you for listing them like this.
