You met me in the longing
before the victory came.
You gave me the desires
I didn’t dare name out loud.

You didn’t shame my hunger.
You answered it with more
than I knew how to ask for.

My crown is not made of gold.
It is made of being seen
and still being loved.

That is what steadies my head.

I asked for life
and you gave me breath
that echoed through generations.

You did not just preserve me—
You expanded me
until my heart could hold more joy
than my enemies thought possible.

I am not strong because I fought.
I am strong because I trusted.

I am not unshaken because of skill
but because I remembered your name
when the storm began.

The ones who forgot Love
thought they were the storm.

But they became the gust
that broke on the Rock.

You see their hollow bravado.
You feel the cold edge
in their plans.
You are not fooled.

Let them feel
what they’ve made others feel.
Not as vengeance
but as awakening.

I don’t ask for their destruction.
I ask for their undoing—
the kind that rebuilds from within.

Let them come to know the power
that doesn’t crush
but blesses.

I will not gloat.
I will not mock.
I will not forget
who steadied me
when I wanted to run.

Be exalted, Holy One
Not because you are high above
But because you bent low
to lift us up.

And I will sing
not to impress
but to remember.
