About This Prayerbook

This book is a companion for those drawn to the Gospel of Mary and the Gospel of Thomas. It does not offer commentary, dogma, or theology. Instead, it opens a rhythm of daily reflection—three moments each day to pause, listen, and remember.

Each day follows a simple form:

  • Morning begins with invocation, a short reading, and a prompt to guide your reflection or stillness practice.

  • Noon offers a breath prayer, a second reading, and an invitation to journal or rest in awareness.

  • Evening brings embodiment through poetry, another sacred line from Mary or Thomas, and a blessing to close the day.

These texts are not meant to be analyzed. They are meant to be met—like koans or soul-mirrors. The wisdom they hold is not hidden; it’s waiting. And the silence between the lines may be the most sacred part.

Use this book as you are. With or without formal meditation. With or without belief. You don’t need to understand everything. You don’t need to fix anything. You only need to show up.

Each Day has three sessions, Morning, Noon, Evening (Prime, Sext and Vespers)

You can optionally add a 20 min period of silence for Centering Prayer / meditation to Noon and Evening if time permits

🌅 Day One – Morning

Invocatory Prayer

O Presence within the silence,
Root me in what cannot be shaken.
Let the first light be a remembering:
That I am not apart from You.
Amen.

Lectio – Thomas 3

"The Kingdom is within you and it is outside you."

Reflection Prompt

What part of me still looks outward for what must be found inward?

Centering Prayer Sit – 20 mins

Closing Benediction

I am within the Kingdom,
and the Kingdom is within me.
