Wonderful, again. I will admit, I was unnervingly aware of the ego embedded in my spiritual efforts back in my 30s and 40s. After the cosmic 2x4 hit me upside the head things calmed down a bit, and now that I am working as a hospital chaplain, I find great humility in the act of sitting side by side with someone else's pain.
