I read somewhere the response of a Canadian official to Trump’s ridiculous assertions: when US wildfire smoke crossed the border into Canada, Canadian response was to send firefighters. The US response to the reverse is to create tariffs.

Did they save you from having to serve your country back in the 60s?" "Why yes they did, by all accounts. Well, let's see how dictating to the Wind works for you. It's as smart a legacy as your Bone Spurs Evasion Tour." Oh one more thing: "When smoke comes into Canada from fires in Colorado and Northern California, as they have repeatedly done over the years, and oddly enough, even with Canadian Firefighters present with firefighting equipment there to help out, how does Canada charge you for that? Counter Tariffs? Counter Smoke? Counter Intuitive? Counter Clockwise?"
Industrial fans: brilliant — can be weaponized by ICE to give that rude wind some of its own medicine & also disperse a ginormous number of NO TRESPASSING leaflets, tastefully embellished by Pastor BillyBob’s Holy USA Megachurch, God bless their little hearts. MAGA don’t want no woke weather.
The stupidity deepens. The insanity grows. I wouldn’t blame other countries for putting tariffs on US for such arrogant, willful, embarrassing and dangerous ignorance. Just when you think it can’t get any worse, certain people open their mouths and even more garbage is vomited out upon us all. 🤦♀️

The humanity! I’ve been saying “Sweet Jesus!!” a lot more lately. I’m truly not taking God’s name in vain. It’s a quick short prayer as each days crazy sauce increases. 🤷♀️
