This is satire with its teeth showing, and rightly so. I loved the way you expose the emotional transaction underneath these kinds of revenge fantasies: they are selling permission. Permission to turn fear into virtue.

The ugly continues to crawl out from under rocks. It still seems unreal that given permission, unbeknownst to us, there are so many with hate flowing from black hearts. The other day driving around our small town we saw a big brand new car with a huge custom sign painted on one entire side with a picture of he whose name I say as little as possible and a caption “Daddy’s home!” 🤦♀️ I wish I could unsee the insanity. The immense prejudices against so many “others” seems to be growing but in actuality it’s just finding courage to reveal itself more with each passing day. 😕
