The laurel of the Cathar prophecy and Magdalene’s red thread were never just symbols. They were signals. This is the story of how a suppressed lineage wove its way through fire, exile, and centuries of silence to rise again in our time.
There is shift underway for sure. As much as I fight the facts, I was built for this and I may only live to see the beginnings of it but I have to cling to the knowledge of who I am at my center. I was built for this. There are better things and we better shape the frig up and remember what we're built for. Nothing is coincidence - not science, or placement or reason. We were built for this and we need to remember it.
It did, Celia. Every word spoken in truth, every act of mercy, every refusal to bow to fear leaves a thread in the weave. None of it is wasted. What begins as advocacy becomes atmosphere for those who come next.
Amen, sister, amen. There is no such thing as coincidence, and you took the words right out of my mouth so i don’t even need to comment, which is hard to believe the way I run my mouth. Thank you!
When the truth is spoken in harmony, even the loudest hearts fall quiet for a breath. That’s how the sacred sneaks in. You didn’t need to comment because your spirit was already echoing hers.
This reawakening of Mary Magdalene’s teachings sends healing all around the world. It feels like freedom & also connection with other religions — billions of us, everywhere on Earth, united in Presence.❤️
Adding my Amen as well. So well said. The further from equality people move, the more male dominance becomes fearful and violent. I truly wish there was less insecurity or more connection to the sacred in men.
I remember advocating for the church to actually recognize that women are created in God's image. Archbishop was not pleased. Oh well.
Oh well is right. That is brave & loving on your part to do that. I don’t know which is worse (or better), displeasing the Archbishop or your mother, which I did. I called God “she” because I was made in god’s image.
As I work my way through this series, I keep thinking "Yeah, Rome (in its Christian era at least) for sure did its share of subjugation of the feminine, but they didn't invent the concept. Not by half." Before their great conversion? They built temples to Minerva, Diana, Juno... And Christians the world over have been trying to exterminate pagans (and accused pagans) since the church began. (They haven't had much luck with them either.)
But because my brain is always opening new tabs, the "red thread" retrieved a page of memory about the "Red Strings", an abolitionist group during the American Civil War who favored an end to slavery, an end to the war, and a restoration of the Union. Related? You decide. Maybe "correlative" is a better word.
This is powerful. I hesitate to call it a doctrine, but as it stands, this is a remarkable introductory summary. It is very compelling.
My only addition would be that it’s entirely possible that the very tactics and actions that empire has taken to suppress these traditions, in a twist of historical irony, became the very reasons themselves why your proverbial laurel has begun to rebloom.
In the parlance of our recovery operation within the Ebyonim tradition, the prophetic floodwaters are breaking the levees and riverbanks once more. It is the cruelty, the oppression, the desperation, the “we are slipping, help!” stakes which have reached the ears of YHWH. His justice (tzedek) is activating once more - to level the mountains of power and reset the world (Jubilee/Yovel).

Blessed be the ones who remember what they were made for and let that knowing shape the world anew.
I too think I will not see the culmination of the phase shift. But I hope all the advocacy when I was young contributed.

Yes. The irony is divine. What empire crucifies, heaven composts.
The blood of suppression always waters the next revelation. Every heretic burned became a wick for someone else’s awakening.
Maybe that’s the hidden mercy in the madness. The laurel doesn’t bloom in spite of empire. It blooms through it.
More of this!
