The Gospel of Mary Dismantles Spiritual Authority—Why Don’t We?
Jesus warned us not to make new laws—and Mary proved you don’t need permission to wake up. So why are we still playing by rules he never gave us?

Oh blessed doorkeepers of enlightenment—always so eager to flash your badges, check our spiritual passports, and declare, “You’re not there yet.” Funny thing though… the Savior never hired you.
In the Gospel of Mary, the resurrected Jesus does not say, “Now go build a church, collect tithes, and make sure everyone obeys your vibes.” Nope. He warns them, plain and sacred: Do not lay down laws like the lawgiver, or else you too will be ruled by them .
Translation? If you invent spiritual bureaucracy, don’t be surprised when it colonizes your own damn soul.
And yet, here we are. Two thousand years later and we’re still auditioning for the role of Peter—demanding receipts from women like Mary who dared to know instead of obey. The Gospel has Peter scoffing, “Did he really speak with a woman and not with us?” To which Mary responds not with submission, but with sorrow. Her insight, her vision, her liberation is too much for the boys' club to handle. Again.
But the Savior doesn't validate their authority—he validates the inner vision, the nous, the awakened mind that transcends both hierarchy and hellfire. What Mary reveals is not some secret checklist. It’s a map of the soul unshackling itself from fear, form, and external control.
So let me say it clearly, from the high seat of holy sass:
If your religion requires you to approve someone else’s awakening, you’re not practicing salvation—you’re practicing surveillance.
Mary didn’t ask for permission. She remembered who she was. And in doing so, she shattered the chain linking holiness to hierarchy.
Let that be your sermon today. No gatekeeper can stop the soul that’s already walking home.
🧘 Meditation Practice: Inner Authority Visualization
Sit comfortably and bring your attention to the breath.
Inhale the phrase: I remember who I am.
Exhale: No one can take that from me.
Now visualize yourself seated in a circle of false judges—critics, clergy, exes, spiritual influencers. One by one, see them fade as you repeat inwardly:
“You do not hold the key.
I never left the gate.
The light I seek is the light I am.”
Rest in that radiance. Let no voice rise higher than your inner knowing.
✨ Dedication of Merit
By the power of remembering what was never forgotten, may all beings tear down the false thrones erected in the name of truth. May the loud be quieted, the humble be heard, and the forgotten be found within themselves. May no soul ever again mistake obedience for awakening.
For Mary. For the ones they tried to silence.

Before you vanish back into the illusion—smash that LIKE or SHARE button like you're breaking open an alabaster jar. One small click, one bold act of remembrance. That’s how we spread the Gospel they tried to erase and resurrect the voice of the First Apostle.
And if this stirred something in your chest cavity (or your third eye), consider a paid subscription. It keeps the scrolls unrolling, the incense smoldering, and the Magdalene movement caffeinated. ☕️🔥
(Yes, you can literally buy me a coffee. Mary saw the risen Christ—I just need a latte to write about it.)

I thought I'd commented as if I did please forgive me because I don't see it here, thank you for your article. I needed to hear that and God knew it. He brought me to your article. Take care. God bless.
May you be blessed with thick cushions that allow you to sit for many years on that holy throne of high sass. Magdalene is surely enjoying this new voice she gets to express through.
