Powerful. And witty. From this “consciousness draped in meat”. I know who I am. Boom.

🌎Very nice road map! Just one minor disappointment: “Karen-level”? (How would Karen King feel?)

You’re right, Karen — not every Karen deserves to be yoked with meme-level baggage.

We’ll upgrade the phrasing.

Nous. What we call our practical sense. Our common sense. I’d almost forgotten about that!

Whew! I’m so behind with my reading. Had a big Mother’s Day on Sunday, got my bedding plants in the ground on Monday, been recovering with heating pad on lower back and ice pack on my knee ever since. Happy to have some time this morning to enjoy your writing.

If I’m aware of what I’m actually feeling, I can’t judge. When I’m judging, my feelings are silenced.

Virgin Monk Boy, are you related to the person who wrote Desiderata?

Shirley, I only wish. That man wrote “Go placidly amid the noise and haste,” and I was born screaming into a megaphone at a yoga retreat.

But I do admire him. While he gently whispered peace into the void, I kick the void in the shins and demand it face its shadow. So we’re not related… but we’ve definitely loitered in the same cosmic bookstore.

I just have to think, with all of this and your writings here and elsewhere:

Laughter is a wonderful thing. :)
