The HOA of my last residence ordered me to take down my Tibetan prayer flags hanging on my patio. I don’t understand how prayer flags can be so triggering, threatening, and offensive. But then I realize it's not about anything making sense or not. It's about control. And around and around and around we go.
The rebranders aren't looking for something to celebrate, they're looking for someone to blame for that hollow, empty, soulless feeling they can't shake.
I noticed how they delineated the Christian faiths. Seems to be an invitation to split some out from the acceptable list. They seem like they would really like to exclude the Catholics. I think Hegseths pastor wants to ban our Catholic processions.
Maybe if the Catholics took some tiki torches along on the procession they would be accepted.
I guess i am still way too naive or just trying to believe this is all a Long Covid-induced bad dream (hell this is worse than Long Covid most of the time & that’s saying a lot from someone who’s been disabled by it for 6 years) because I almost barfed when i read the first few paragraphs. WTF?????? They have their panties in a wad over PRIDE MONTH??????
I think my head is going to explode. Except that will stain my favorite HUG blanket from the owner of Penzy’s who does everything he can to support Democrats & get rid of Republicans & it would be so messy.
I think I’m gonna go listen to the Meaning of Mary Magdalene so my Peacemaker Pacemaker can stop working so hard to slow down.
I just learned that Mormonism was listed but not as a Christian denomination, and lots and lots of Mormons are pissed! Maybe they’ll save us after all by getting rid of Hogseth for us!
The only reasonable objections to a new mosque would be increased traffic, and the amplified blare of the adhan 5 times a day. Of course, I also object to my neighbor who points his speakers at my house, and plays music with offensive lyrics so loudly I can't hear my own thoughts.
Please link me to the Albuquerque news? I follow the city free papers, one of which is explicitly aimed at taking people inside city hall and to relevant meetings, and have not heard a single thing. I much prefer my adopted hometown to be known as the place that had huge turnout at the Islamic Center to mourn targeted Muslim killings, not as a place for anything like this.
