Loved the satire with a pulse! underneath the jokes there is a very serious moral indictment: hatred has learned to dress itself in holy language, and “concerned parent” language.
A counter-Christian ecumenical movement needs to coalesce and share the Good News - The Kingdom of God is at hand, closer than your jugular vein, Blessed are the Peacemakers for they will be called children of God ... Be Well, Be Kind, Extend grace in all directions in these the strangest of days.

The more history my partner and I learn, the more humbled we are and the more grief we feel about all the religious whitewashing🤦♀️
I will never understand the pride a “true patriot” is supposed to have about the way America was birthed. We stole every inch of this land which was not ours to take and dared to call it God’s will. We slaughtered countless nations of indigenous people who had lived here for hundreds and hundreds of years and dared to believe we were doing God’s will. We slaughtered thousands of buffalo and had fun doing it laughing at how indigenous people would die and dared to think we were glorifying God. Then we built the wealth of this “great” nation on the backs of slaves, tormenting, torturing, raping them at will and then put on our finery every Sunday to go worship God and never felt one ounce of guilt. Mighty fine Christians.
Such history goes on and on and on. And now we’re back at it again. People sowing seeds of hate and fear and calling it God. People wanting to resurrect the old south and punish blacks for their unchosen color of skin and push them back down into “their place” giving themselves permission to once again feel entitled to other humans to use as slaves, to enjoy abusing them at will, still believing that they, the abusers and users, are God’s special people. They weave their evil webs and make their plans to force their religion down people’s throats without out a clue they do NOT have the right to do such evil in God’s name, of all things. And by all this demonstrating that they are also clueless that they are spitting in the very face of Jesus and all the other great spiritual teachers God has gifted us throughout generations of history. They overlook the parts of the stories where the people always killed the prophets God sent and suffered terrible consequences for being so stupid.
We never seem to learn the lessons history could teach us. 🤦♀️ It seems we once again have a powerful group of people actually reveling in and encouraging HATE. HATE!! And believing in doing so that they are actually somehow serving God. It’s the song that never seems to end. And it’s all so, so wrong. 🤦♀️ I go through my days with my heart constantly on its knees praying that Goodness, Love and Justice will overcome this evil parading around in religious clothes. Praying that all the innocents will be protected and delivered from the plots of people who hunger to hurt, maim, kill, destroy and steal the lives of those God has created. The God they delude themselves into thinking is happy with their evil plans and actions and will reward them for doing all this evil in HIS name. I don’t think they’ll be getting the reward they are looking forward to receiving. 🙏😔
HIstorically, as i know this author knows, in the last 1700 years, more savagery has been perpetuated under the sel-righteous flag of Christianity than for any other reason.
